What would Cuban-style be in this context?

It’s not like carrots need anything drizzled on them, and … well, there it is.

I’m not sure I could name a film that’s held up better than Amadeus.

Blade Runner (the original), The Shining, The Thing, T2 (a rare example of a sequel that’s better than the original). [[That’s just the 80’s, yo]]… I could go on for days on films that aren’t just better due to writing, but these films somehow surpass modern films (movies) using practical or studio effects and very little or no CGI, as opposed to modern movies which do the opposite. Very few exceptions these days. This is all subjective of course, and I only listed a few obvious titles. But you get the point.

Rose tinted lens and all, I do wonder what modern films will be remembered in 40 years. Probably not very many big budget films, I’d wager; outside of some form of monetized nostalgia.

Edit: technically T2 is '91, I messed up

        No, the cilantro.

That’s why it tastes like soap to some people.

      Cuban style black beans

What context do you need to eat Cuban style black beans? It’s like asking what Suzette means in the pancake context.

What Kyiv means in the chicken Kyiv context or perhaps chicken à la King, which king? Melba peaches, what Melba means in that context?

        2½–3 hours cooking time

Yeah, nah. Perfect for a pressure-cooker, though!

No idea what you’re on about, as I was simply curious about the cooking method. Almost sounds like a standup routine you’re working on there, mate. Cool!

But I like gas. It gives me that extra bit of propellant I need to move through my day.
