Much better than the store bought ones.

Fun fact, the brandname doritos are made

    1. via cooking and soaking corn grains for many hours
    2. weight separation for removal of softened husks
    3. grinding process
    4. lightly pressurized extrusion (higher pressure results in more fluff such as corn puffs and funyuns)
    5. rolling and cutting to shape
    6. heating in a special oven at 340 degrees CELSIUS for 16 seconds
    7. Frying in oil at 182 degrees celsius

Supposedly, the oven sears the chips to hold moisture in while frying. The chips themselves have about 40% moisture before cooking.

      Cook my grains for hours

      Soak me just as long

      grains and wheat aren’t flowers

      This isn’t a pretty song

      Pressurize my extrusion

      After grinding me for hours

make sure to separate my husk

Or else this song becomes sour

      Higher pressure makes me fluff

      If we desire corn puff

But what we desires requires light pressure

      Because we likes it tough

      So roll me into shape

      Triangle is best

Heat me up in a special oven

Fry me in oil for the rest
