Here, and in most leftist spaces, why does Islam always get a pass?

is it because when people picture “muslim” they picture a POC but when they picture “Christian” they picture a straight white man?

    Arrogance.

“My version of Jesus is the ONLY correct one, and anyone who disagrees is a heretic.”

I think you’ll get “persecuted” a lot less if you just focused on your own relationship with God, and stopped worrying about other people’s relationships with God.

if you see someone drinking poison on the street, do you not take the bottle from their hands and call an ambulance?

Assuming it’s a grown ass adult, of course not.

It’s not my place to decide what other people should be allowed to drink. If the guy is drinking it, maybe he knows something you don’t, maybe that “poison” is actually good for him, maybe he needs it to live.

Again, arrogance. What makes you so special that you know better than every other single person living on Earth?

for the sake of the metaphor, if someone that you love is going to eat nyquil chicken, you ARE going to stop them right?

it would be immoral not to

I’m going back to the first comment I typed this morning.

            Context is important.

If my child is rooting around in the cleaners under the sink, I will of course intervene because in that situation I am responsible for teaching them that it’s harmful and that they should not drink it.

If some rando posts in the Internet “I’ve been drinking bleach every day for 20 years, and I’m going to do it again right now.” Who am I to tell him that he shouldn’t do something that’s been working for him for 20 years? Clearly it’s none of my business.

If some rando posts “If I drink bleach will it cure my COVID?” I will tell them it’s a very bad idea, because they asked for information about it, and that’s what I know.

            It’s all about CONTEXT.

not on the internet, in front of you

they are drinking it infront of you

you have a moral duty to stop them

                No. We. Don’t.

If you really want to keep rephrasing the question until you get the answer you want, go right ahead. I’ll keep telling you that you’re still wrong.
