      Again meme-level thinking. Trying to understand and fix something isn’t “tolerating” it, but yeah it does mean not screaming at it, which offends binary thinkers.

        Idk bro some opinions just ain’t worth trying to understand.

        “Some people don’t deserve basic human rights” is a pretty simple ‘youre probably a piece of shit if you think this’.

        I don’t need to “try to understand” that. It’s wrong, and it’s offensive. Validating that stance by treating it as worthy of consideration is just bigotry that you can feel better about.

      Like I said, it’s not a binary world - meaning that people come in lots more categories than bigot and non-bigot. IMO it’s like you understand algebra so you’re filing people who don’t under “Irrevocably Stupid”, and also yelling at anybody who doesn’t do the same.
