You can, for example, give one an instruction to do something.
How would you do that? Since both eyes are connected to both hemispheres isn’t it kind of hard to do that? Or are both ears separated and you can give commands through that without the other hemisphere knowing? I’ve heard about these studies too but I’m not sure about how the setup works because I’ve heard they used text on a screen for that but OP said the eyes do snitch to the other half after all. I find it a little confusing.

Does revitalize not mean what I think it does or is the headline plain wrong? Because I’m pretty sure Linux multiplayer was never more alive than it is now.

I would bet even careful Arch users don’t sift through every repo they have installed during every system update to make sure nobody tinkered with an older one today. Some may have written elaborate scripts that warn them when for example the owner of a package changed but that’s probably less than 1% of even just older Arch users. If it even exists at all.
I don’t think this is just a growing skill issue. I suspect the main reason this seems to happen more frequently is mere popularity. More popular means there’s more to gain for bad actors.

This amount of surveillance has a really disturbing track record in history. So assuming any politician backing this must be a fascist at heart is the correct approach. These politicians should not be in any position to make any of these decisions. They can’t represent democracy when they declare themselves the enemies of it.
That sure is a tiny image. I wish I could make out what it’s about.

Data hoarders know the cost of giving away data.

I have degoogled Chromium installed because some things only work in a chrome browser. However it’s a special use case and I would barely notice if ublock was gone. I wouldn’t use it as a main browser anyway.

The line has to go up. That is literally the law. The fact that Youtube has a larger income than Disney doesn’t mean it will stop. They can never stop. They just can crash and burn down eventually but only after making a few people very very rich.

Internet Browsers store way too much data and have waaaay too many permissions. It’s sickening.

Where else would you get Palestinian Children blood sauce to dip your McNuggies in?
I really don’t know how people can stomach that crap.

On one hand fuck AI on the other hand McDonald’s customers don’t deserve any better.

the car, the dog, perhaps their football club, their partner, kebab prices, gasoline prices and then maybe their country.

Funny how the internet went to shit when protocols were thrown out of the window and companies instead used their financial weight to ‘solve’ everything.

chairman/CEO says…
Yawn. I’m also pretty sure I’ve read this headline months ago already.

No can do. Governments will ask them for age verification. Valve will instead swiftly remove anything with kinky dialogue and move on. True story by the way. Happened in Germany and no, it had nothing to do with protecting customers on Steam’s side because the age verification process authorities asked for protects your identity. Valve simply didn’t want to deal with it. To be fair it was a bullshit demand anyway but Sony didn’t seem to have any problems implementing it so this is a Valve thing.

Can’t blame an elected leader alone for shit a country does. Same goes for the USA.
I know the explanation very well but none of it can me make it see black and blue. It simply does not look black and blue to me no matter how much context I have. Believe me, I’ve watched videos dissecting it back when it went viral. None of the context can rewire my brain here and I’m not alone with this one.
US citizens are far less optimistic about AI than about Donald fucking Trump.
