Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What feed and sorting do you browse the most on lemmy/piefedEnglish
0·2 months agoWell I’m subscribed to about 60 communities and I have enough to fill up my subscribed feed, the issue is probably not subscribing to enough communities and/or not subscribing to enough large and active ones like this one

0·2 months agoI’m not sure but I think it takes into account community size so that you gt more posts from smaller communities, rather than your feed being mostly posts from larger communities, correct me if I’m wrong though
What’s that got to do with this post?

0·2 months agoReally bad idea to have a big Russian minority in Lithuania, which is what adding Kaliningrad would do, that could cause some instability issues.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is your preferred form of proportional representation, and why?English
0·3 months agoPersonally like MMP, it is already shown that it can work in the real world (used in NZ and other places) and generally produces fairer results than other systems, as well as giving minor parties more power and influence than in other systems. I would also suggest using preferential instead of first past the post voting for the constituencies to reduce strategic voting.
I’d suggest Cromite as a good option if Firefox based browsers run terrible, I use it since Firefox browsers are not recommended on Grapheneos for security reasons.

0·4 months agoWould like to point out politics is not actually the primary content on the fediverse and based on the downvotes you’re getting, you seem to be in a minority, not the majority. Now have a good day and bye.

0·4 months agoDon’t think I was demanding much here, I’m trying to say that people who want to talk politics should talk in the communities meant for that, not in the non political communities and make it everyone else’s problem. But sure, I’m demanding policy change to ban something.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is your least favourite thing about the fediverse or lemmy?English
0·4 months agoYeah I understand here, there’s a lot of knock on effects from political decisions that eventually cause stuff like this. I was more focused on people coming into comment sections and spouting political ideology and partisan politics rather than stuff like what you’ve said here.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is your least favourite thing about the fediverse or lemmy?English
0·4 months agoDefinitely the amount of politics, it gets brought up in far too many places where it is unnecessary, I avoid political communities and stuff like that, yet I keep getting it in communities with 0 relation.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How often do you think the highest upvoted comment on a post is the one you most agree with?English
0·6 months agoNot usually tbh, the top comment usually represents the majority opinion which i tend to disagree with

Well we do, I don’t care for news and a lot of what is in the all feed, so I don’t use it
