Germans: arrive 20 minutes early because “you never know”
The thing I was trying to convey was, Germans and Swedes follow the rules religiously, south europe not so much.
Please do post your results to [email protected] if you want to, it seriously needs a bump upwards :-)
I love drawings/paintings with human interaction, like two persons bartering for example. What about that in a sci-fi outside marketplace?
Cheers
Das is richtig mein freund!
Well, the northen france is on pair with southern germany, but the idea here is the north/south differences, where in the north people are on time and follow rules, in the south not so much.
That was a good pun, bravo!
I can see it, so maybe it’s been restored.
I was on a train in sweden, and at a stop this guy just went and forgot his phone (no backpack or any kind of things left, just his phone), I tried to hail him but that didn’t work, so I took the phone and raced after him, giving it to him outside the train.
He was talking to someone and was clearly not happy about it all.
Well well, I boarded the train and thought I had at least done a good deed.
Guy comes aboard and rides the train to the next station…
France is south to the Germans, Swedes etc but north to Italians, Greeks etc. So there are both people trying to cut in line (it can be any one, an old lady or a young person), but then other people fight them back with loud “oh you are in a hurry?!!”, “Oh, we just stand here, not queueing at all!!”, or the “Heey! / Eeh!”
Sort of some urban training it feels like.
I’m kind of a big guy, for you europeans. I’m 4’2 and weights 280lbs.
;-)
Yes, I learned that the hard way 😁
A shame the raspberries are either super tiny (and thus lacking, mostly ports) or trying to be bigger faster moar-all style. I get there is a market for 8GB RAM PIs but I just miss the “lots of ports” & enough RAM to run a desktop ones I guess.
“just bring your mouse, keyboard and screen! And power supply!”
That HDMI port sticking out looks so sturdy and practical, like a gigantic usb-key you have to stick in a little hole on the backside of the screen, very user friendly, wont beeak off at all or the whole thing just fall down lol.
Isn’t that just basic knowledge of your own body? Like if I eat beans I’ll have a gaseous stool etc.
I mean don’t we all drink some tea when the throat is sore? Avoid coffee if we have stomach problems and so on?
I sure do take medication when I’m sick, but I also try to alleviate the suffering with ordinary things (“natural” if you want), like chocolate when I have the flu because it’s depressing or rice when I have a diarrhea.
I feel OP are fishing for something else though like “modern medicine bad/big pharma bad” or am I wrong here?
Also good luck with dosing. Many medecines loses the benefits if you take too much, like asthma medecine for example. It’s like a bell curve. Others are outright dangerous if overdosed and so on. Stay safe out there!
When I’m on the lookout I target 5 year old stuff, because companies usually upgrade after 5 years throwing away totally fine things IMO. The only new thing I bought in ages is a big SSD and a low power GPU.
One benefit of buying stuff companies throw out is that the early breakdowns has been weeded out and the stuff is kind of sure to work.
I’d love a cheap like Raspberry 3B clone.
Not a wannabe full fledged PC.
I have already tried Orange PI and it works, but when you want to do something there is mo community in comparison and there were just lots of problems. I did simple python IO stuff and I had to fix a C library to make it work 😕
I have too many already 😅
I know how email works but it sure didn’t help me understand the fediverse.
It’s just one thing in email servers functioning that is similar in the fediverse, everything else is not similar. It is just confusing to compare the two to anyone not yet knowing how the fediverse works IMO.
“It’s like the postal service!”
“It’s like the internet!”
Just say it’s like reddit (or a social media) but free and open and anyone can have/make one, or use an existing one. For free.
/Rant off
10€/month 5G “unlimited” (186GB IIRC before throttling). I think texts/SMS are unlimited and calls too but I just don’t know as I send like 10 texts per months and make two 5 minute calls.
France.
Russias evonomy is in the toilet is imperialistic propaganda?
Lol ok.
