Israel would not meaningfully harm US interests?! Bahahahha!
There’s really not much you can do. There’s just too many cameras in the public spaces. If any government official wants to see who’s visited an abortion clinic, they can just have the local traffic camera company tell them.
We need to ban the government getting around the 4th amendment by partnering with private companies.
What is that “probably” based on?
Israel has a history of arming their enemies and extremists to intentionally destabilize the region. They founded and materially supported Hamas, even as they fired rockets into Israel, in order to undermine peaceful secular groups.
Given the context, I would be most concerned that they’re not asking for verification when they have some way you’re already being tracked.
You know what would be a really easy way to confirm if Proton is sometimes requiring email verification? Just look on their own website, where they openly say they do it.
The question isn’t whether they’re doing this. It’s whether they’re actually doing it to “prevent spambots,” or if they’re employing it when they need more info to track who’s signing up.
I don’t know what to tell you. Tried it yesterday, and it required an email to verify.
I just tried it yesterday. Definitely required an email for verification.
If you think either of the only two parties allowed to run aren’t both fascists, you’re not paying attention.
Sounds fair to me!
The only benefit to attempting to push progressive policies and candidates through the existing system is to illustrate to people on the fence that system cannot be reformed, and it must be destroyed before it will represent us.
Is this a hasbara attempt to deflect from the fact that Israel is selling weapons to Russia?
That’s a nice fantasy. But the sooner you accept reality, the sooner you can begin to get to work on actual solutions, instead of playing along with the illusion.
I’ve been calling my representatives nonstop for a year to end their support for the genocide in Palestine. When is this supposed to start working?
Been waiting for intellectual property reforms for so long, at this point I’d be willing to abandon IP laws entirely. It’s holding the species back.
It’s more difficult to run government psyops on mastodon.
Israel’s been illegally selling weapons to Russia for quite a while. But all of the people who could do anything about it are afraid to hold Israel accountable.
That’s nice. But you should get a gun. Much more effective fighting method than deleting an app.
Didn’t say any of that at all. That’s all from your imagination.
I don’t believe anyone should be able to claim ownership of any ideas or numbers. No math outlawed or controlled. When something is made physical, that’s an entirely different thing, but trying to control 1’s and 0’s is breaking us.
But then we also need to recognize that people need to be rewarded for their ideas, for the benefit of us all, and start subsidizing these. At the very least, we need to establish a basic standard of living that everyone is entitled to, so that people can dedicate themselves to developing ideas they’ll never profit from while not having to worry about being able to house or feed themselves.
