I read it totally differently. I read it that the girl wanted attention by crying, the guy was dismissive and as such the guy was wrong. I wasn’t seeing it as projection but as mocking a person with a difference in how to be treated when upset and he assumed everyone was the same
Well I think the actual point is right there. There isn’t really enough context provided to know what to do.
Personally I can’t relate, my partner is quite capable of getting annoyed or angry at things but she generally doesn’t get angry at me unless I am the one that has actually done something. Usually it’s work thing so she’s just vents to meet about it.
