I wouldn’t say WW3 is raging, but you could argue we are back in another cold war.

its far beyond cold war. Russia, while not the primary opponent of America see China, is engaged in full scale war with a neighbor who’s being pumped full of weaponry for its defense, and the Europeans are panicking , realizing they have an existential crisis on their hands. Both sides are committing acts of war against each other on the regular.

and elsewhere, the Israeli/Arab/Iranian conflict more or less has battle lines driven between countries that are allied with Russia and ones that aren’t, While they aren’t helping each other, Ukraine and Israel are both facing off against Russian/Iranian Forces and their proxies.

I say we’re fighting WW3 right now, because the allegory of 2022-present is comparable to either the Spanish Civil war, or the Sino-Japanese war, both conflicts that saw direct confrontation involving the aggressor in testing grounds for the future

okay you are right about that I feel the cold war was so because of the open hostility between the pair where this time half our politicians have Russian or Chinese nuts in their mouth and vice versa we’re much more intertwined
